As a child, Fang Leng's reckless behavior led to a tragic car accident in which his mother died while trying to save him. In the aftermath, Fang Leng fainted due to his overwhelming grief and trauma. When he woke up, he had forgotten everything about the incident. In an attempt to shield him from guilt, his father, Fang Shida, decided to lie, fabricating a story about an affair.
Jiang Shiyi, seeking to show Chai Xiao Qi that love is a lie concocted by Earth’s deception, revealed to Fang Leng their true identities as aliens. He expected that this truth would drive a wedge between them, yet Fang Leng’s response surprised him, rather than breaking up with Chai Xiao Qi, the revelation only brought them closer together.
Jiang Shiyi, desperate to make Chai Xiaoqi return to Jupiter with him, trapped her in his home, setting up a barrier to prevent her from escaping. He tried to convince her that they were genetically matched and should be together. However, Chai Xiaoqi, having learned the truth, still chose to be with Fang Leng, infuriating Jiang Shiyi.
Jiang Shi found Chai Xiao Qi before Fang Leng and locked her up in his house, hoping to change her mind. He reminded her of their childhood bond, but despite his attempts, Chai Xiao Qi remained firm in her decision not to leave with him. Desperate, Jiang Shi resorted to using hormones, absorbing Fang Leng's hormones to show her that her feelings were merely a chemical reaction, not real love.
Xiao Qi bought candy for Jiang Shi Yi but found herself still disliking the taste. Fang Leng arrived under the pretext of delivering her luggage, but she coldly dismissed him, leading to a heated exchange where Fang Leng swore to make her like him again. Meanwhile, Xiao Qi was made aware of a gene matching project in Cape Town through Xiao Bu.
Xiao Qi was moved when she saw the entire room filled with stars Jiang Shiyi had arranged. It reminded her of the starry nights that always graced her birthdays in the past, which she didn't know were secretly created by Jiang Shiyi using his supernatural abilities. She had received an invitation from Fang Leng, and even though it was raining heavily.
Fang Leng became somewhat jealous when he learned that Xiao Qi and Jiang Shiyi's compatibility was as high as ninety-nine. Feeling that his bond with Xiao Qi was the better one, he decided to prove it by following a typical Earthling tradition taking her to meet his parents. He was accompanied by Fang Lie, who brought Xiao Bu along as well.
Xiao Qi asked Fang Leng to create a wish list, wanting to make the most of the time they had before leaving. One night, they sat by a lake, gazing at the stars. As they shared memories and dreams, Xiao Qi's health began to worsen, and she suddenly collapsed. In a panic, Fang Leng rushed her home and noticed something was wrong.
Fang Leng stood by Xiao Qi's bed, heartbroken as he watched her cry. The latest test results had not worked, and despite all the efforts to save her, it had come to this. Jiang Shiyi had informed him that in three days, the spaceship would arrive to take Xiao Qi away. Fang Leng had tried everything, hoping to give Xiao Qi one last chance.
During F Group's perfume launch, Fang Leng introduces a new fragrance, created specifically for Xiao Qi. At the press conference, Fang Lie, a new and emerging artist, attends alongside Xiao Bu. Meanwhile, Chai Jie and Dr. Zhang start a romantic relationship despite being in different countries. To focus on her career, Chai Jie signs up for a competitive show.
